Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Leather Repair & RestorationDiagnose wear, damage, or defects in leather surfaces
Restore faded, cracked, or torn leather using specialized tools and treatments
Re-dye and condition leather to match original finishes
Installation & Customization
Cut, stitch, and fit leather materials to vehicle interiors
Install leather seats, panels, and trims with precision
Collaborate with designers or clients for custom interior projects
Maintenance & Finishing
Apply protective coatings and conditioners
Ensure all leather surfaces meet durability and aesthetic standards
Quality Control
Inspect materials and finished work for defects or inconsistencies
Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and safety
Inventory & Coordination
Manage leather material stock and tools
Coordinate with other technicians and departments to meet project timelines
Desired Candidate Profile
2-5 years of experience in automotive leatherwork or upholstery
Proficiency in leather cutting, stitching, and finishing techniques
Familiarity with sewing machines, adhesives, and restoration chemicals
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to read design specs and work independently or in teams
