As a Lead Infrastructure Architect at SITA Lab, you'll ideate and design demos, prototypes, and MVPs, working closely with our clients to bring innovative ideas to life. This role offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in emerging technologies, design transformative solutions. WHAT YOU LL DO Take an active, hands-on role across the entire development lifecycle, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure. Lead infrastructure design decisions and provide mentorship to junior developers to support their growth. Architect and implement solutions, including DevSecOps pipelines and site reliability engineering practices. Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team. Stay current with the latest infrastructure architecture best practices and apply them to real-world challenges. Effectively communicate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers, ensuring alignment and transparency. Be part of a passionate, innovative team that s shaping the future and enjoy the journey while doing it Qualifications ABOUT YOU Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, preferably with expertise in Microsoft Azure. A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, passionate about experimenting with new technologies and solving business problems using an agile, fast-iteration approach. Skilled in designing, building, and troubleshooting infrastructure for highly scalable messaging systems, who can also clearly communicate the business impact of technical decisions. A strong communicator who excels at leading discussions, building consensus, and articulating priorities with clarity. TECHNICAL EXPERTISE Extensive experience in designing and managing highly scalable, distributed microservices architectures. Deep expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and cloud-native deployments (AWS, Azure). Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, for automating and managing infrastructure. Strong background in cloud networking and security, with a focus on designing secure, scalable systems. In-depth knowledge of messaging architectures, including WebSockets and Kafka, with strong understanding of networking principles. Skilled in working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch. NICE-TO-HAVE Master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Hands-on programming experience in a widely used programming language.
