Job Summary:

We are looking for a Lead Estimator to join our team and take on projects related to estimating costs for construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process, analyzing project requirements, and providing accurate cost estimates to ensure projects are completed within budget.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the estimation team in analyzing project requirements and creating cost estimates.
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Research and analyze vendor bids, subcontractor quotes, and material pricing to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Present and explain estimates to clients, management, and other team members as needed.
  • Monitor and track project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as needed.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in estimating costs for construction projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certification in estimating or related field is a plus.
