Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Delivery Excellence
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements, creating AS-IS/TO-BE process models, use cases, and personas.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders to define scope and priorities.
- Support backlog refinement, define acceptance criteria, and assist in UAT preparation.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and architects to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Organizational Leadership
- Ensure compliance with governance standards and contribute to BA best practices and reusable assets.
- Mentor junior BAs and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and quality assurance processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Experience & Skills
- 8-10 years of total experience, including 6+ years as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain.
- Strong background in BMP/ABS/GRP2/Guidewire or equivalent core insurance platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of BMP assets and underlying architecture.
- Expertise in requirements engineering, process modeling (BPMN), and agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Visio).
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving.
- Exposure to insurance domains such as Sales, Claims, or Product.
Desirable Qualifications
- IIBA CBAP or equivalent certification.
- ABSL1/ABSL2/ABAC certification.
