Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Sort incoming laundry items meticulously by fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleaning results.
- Operate and maintain a variety of laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing presses, ensuring they function efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload laundry machines with precision, adhering to weight limits and cycle instructions to prevent equipment malfunctions and maintain fabric integrity.
- Administer appropriate detergents, stain removers, and other cleaning agents, accurately measuring and applying them based on garment type and stain severity.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in a laundry or hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of laundry chemicals, equipment operation, and stain removal techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
