Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines, identifying and resolving mechanical issues proactively.
  • Adjust machine settings and tooling to optimize production efficiency and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and health regulations at all times.
  • Document production data and machine performance for continuous improvement and quality assurance.
  • Train and mentor junior operators on best practices, safety protocols, and machine operation techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating lathe machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints with precision.
  • Strong knowledge of machining tools, materials, and processes, particularly regarding lathe operations.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and tolerances.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle machinery and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and operations is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to technology.
