Roles & Responsibilities

  • Consulting with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences
  • Designing and planning landscape layouts and gardens
  • Managing landscape projects from conception to completion
  • Overseeing the planting, watering, pruning, and fertilizing of plants, shrubs, and trees
  • Maintaining the health and appearance of landscapes including control of weeds and pests
  • Using a variety of tools and machinery to conduct landscaping tasks
  • Coordinating with other professionals such as landscape architects or contractors when needed
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations related to landscaping and outdoor maintenance
  • Preparing and managing the landscaping budget
  • Training and supervising landscaping staff
  • Ordering necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for landscaping projects
