Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
Perform land and field surveys, including topographic, layout, and geodetic calculations
Coordinate with contractors and the client to confirm survey requirements and project benchmarks
Carry out setting-out for roads, utilities, structures, and bridge elements
Verify levels, horizontal controls, and locations of services to ensure protection and accuracy
Prepare and maintain survey sketches, field books, notes, and calculations
Measure completed works when required and support payment verification
Assist in preparing as-built data and drawings
Follow site safety procedures and participate in safety briefings
Support the engineering and supervision team through accurate, timely survey reporting
Skills Set
Field surveying and setting-out
Geodetic calculations and level verification
Survey instruments and CAD/survey software
As-built preparation and measurement record keeping
Contractor coordination and quality verification
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Minimum 8 years experience in land surveying and setting-out for roads, infrastructure, and bridges projects
Proficient with total station, GPS, data collectors, and survey software
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and survey control documents
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and standard work procedures
Good communication and technical reporting skills
