As a Knowledge Management Specialist, you will bring our knowledge strategy to life by creating the frameworks, practices and tools that help people share and use information effortlessly. You will make knowledge part of how we work every day, helping teams connect, learn, and innovate faster. Working closely with the Knowledge & Process Manager, you will help build a strong, connected knowledge ecosystem that supports better decisions, smoother collaboration, and continuous improvement. This role sits within the Planning and Improvements function under Governance and Planning, driving IT strategy planning and execution, knowledge, and change management and integrates Tooling Metrics to align teams and enhance performance analytics.
In this role, you will:
- Design and maintain the Knowledge Management (KM) framework by defining taxonomy, structuring repositories, and embedding governance standards for metadata, version control, and content lifecycle to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability.
- Support enterprise KM platform evaluation and enablement, collaborating with Platforms teams to ensure seamless integration with IT processes, alignment to taxonomy, and adherence to usability and security standards.
- Embed knowledge-sharing practices across IT by co-creating adoption initiatives with change management, integrating KM into onboarding, training, and daily workflows to strengthen collaboration and cultural adoption.
- Curate and optimize content assets through proactive engagement with subject matter experts, addressing knowledge gaps, and ensuring assets are discoverable, reusable, and relevant for IT teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor KM adoption and performance by leading audits, establishing feedback loops, and analyzing usage metrics to drive continuous improvement and deliver actionable insights for decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology or other related field
- Professional certifications in recognised knowledge management frameworks (i.e., American Productivity & Quality Center (APQC), or equivalent) are strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in related field
- Experience in knowledge management and governance in complex, multicultural, cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrable success in leading and/or contributing to knowledge management initiatives.
- Advanced expertise in knowledge management framework, methodologies, practices, and platforms.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with pressing deadlines
- Ability to build credibility and develop internal client relationships
- Knowledgeable in key concepts of change management, business intelligence, including BI applications and analytics.
