Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Familiar with kitchen hygiene practices and food safety
. Assist The Head Chef and Chef De Partie in the preparation of daily requisition.
Preparation of mise en place for the kitchen production
To be able to learn how to prepare sandwiches and salads during lunch time
Is able to read kitchen slips (orders)
Take part in the opening and closing duties of the kitchen
. Check the shelf life of products, tag the production/expiry date on each product and inform the direct chef of any wasted products.
Qualifications
.Technical Degree in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management
.1-2 years of experience in F&B operations as a kitchen Commis
.Knowledge in various cuisines, cooking techniques, and cooking sections
.Have a passion for cooking
.Flexible shift
