Roles & Responsibilities
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to support our PC & Marine Manager on the growth of our Protective & Marine Coatings business.
The KAM will be responsible for developing strong relationships with key clients, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the segment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share in the Protective & Marine coatings segment.
Identify and acquire new key accounts, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Drive sales growth by promoting our range of protective and marine coatings to industrial and marine customers.
- Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality solutions.
Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support when needed.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Market Analysis & Strategy:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead in the segment.
Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to introduce new products and solutions to customers.
Provide market feedback to support product development and innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with technical teams to ensure the right product recommendations and application support.
Coordinate with logistics and supply chain to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Partner with finance to ensure proper credit management and collections.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What We Look For :
- Master s/Engineering degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales/account within an Industry
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities -English & French speaker.
- Knowledge of protective coatings, marine coatings, and industrial applications is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and drive sales growth.
