Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop strong commercial relationships with stakeholders within the client business
- Use commercial acumen to identify business opportunities and take a consultative approach to working with our clients to grow the existing business
- Support implementation of set strategies to deliver value to our clients
- Provide technical guidance of business products used by the client
- Support negotiation of new contracts
- Communicate to BDM customer needs, competitive dynamics and market trends
- Be responsible and accountable in collaboration with the Business Development Manager of Clients annual Development Plans
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- At least two year experience in client or account management, Hospitality and travel trade experience required.
- You'll need to bring an entrepreneurial drive, commercial acumen, negotiation and relationship management skills and an appetite for complex problem solving
- Ability to recognize commercial opportunities with the right balance of tactical and strategic thinking
- An ability to work under minimal supervision while understanding when to make decisions solo or seek further inputs from key stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) skills mandatory
- General understanding of travel/tour product distribution technologies and systems
- Results-oriented and strong sense of customer ownership
