• Install, inspect, maintain, repair and test hydraulic, pneumatic and/or mechanical items related to New Fitment, General Repair, Piling and/or Fabrication sections, • (De)Install, (dis)assemble, inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot defects of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic and/or mechanic nature on: o Vehicle fitments (like crane or taillift). o Cylinders (single or double acting, single or multistage), o Valves (control, load holding, tipping, cartridge) o Manifolds, o Pumps and motors (fixed and variable displacement), o Gearboxes, o Winches, o Powerpacks, o Piling equipment (clamps, pile breaker), o Open and closed loop systems, o Related components. • Undertake any kind of mechanical works in support of the above, like removal & fix back of parts of the system. • Execute various types of testing (function, pressure, load, performance) and related reporting, • Maintain an accurate, structured approach and overview to scopes that are multiplied (e.g. many cylinders) or integrated (e.g. landing leg assembly) or complex (e.g. ladder extension cylinders), • Safely and knowingly operate equipment where needed to diagnose, troubleshoot or test complaints, • Inspect, identify and provide accurate details for the repair scope, including required spare parts, seals and machining works, • Make accurate and complete reports on the repairs (to be) done, test results and recommendations, • Read hydraulic operating manuals, drawings and specifications & work accordingly, • Attend sites to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic related breakdown of various types of equipment, • Identify and timely communicate any concerns, doubts or ideas with regards to technical integrity, safety and timely completion of the job, • Operate forklift, EOT crane, pallet trucks and tools as needed, • Accurately follow job planning and perform related time writing and reporting, • Maintain cleanliness of General Repair and work area at all times, • Perform such other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Workshop Manager, • Comply with company (QHSE) policies at all times and motivate others to do the same.
