Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing technical materials, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Support the review of technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs with engineering teams.
  • Request quotations from approved suppliers and follow up on offers.
  • Prepare comparison sheets (technical & commercial).
  • Assist in issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for incoming materials.
  • Maintain procurement records, supplier data, and documentation.
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and order status.
    Follow up with shipping agencies regarding shipping schedules .
    Follow up with customs brokers regarding any required data and clearance procedures.
    To apply all instructions and customs regulations of importing including Nafeza and CargoX.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

1 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (technical background is a plus).

Basic understanding of technical materials and specifications.

Good command of English (written and spoken).

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Preferred Skills

Internship or training in procurement or engineering companies.

Basic knowledge of ERP systems.
