Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for various construction projects by analyzing plans and specifications.
- Conduct quantity take-offs to accurately determine the materials and labor required for projects, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
- Collaborate with senior estimators to develop competitive bids and proposals that align with client expectations and project requirements.
- Research and gather data on market prices for materials and labor to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in construction estimation or a similar role is a strong advantage.
- Experience with construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools is highly sought after.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all estimates prepared.
