Junior Electrical Engineer

The Junior Electrical Engineer supports the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components for various projects. This role involves working closely with senior engineers to execute electrical designs, perform system assessments, and contribute to the successful delivery of electrical systems. The Junior Electrical Engineer will gain experience in the field, build technical skills, and contribute to the overall success of projects.


Duties and Responsibilities


1. Support feasibility studies, site evaluations, and system assessments to inform design decisions.

2. Create and review basic electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

3. Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions.

4. Contribute to project timelines, assisting with managing resources and budgets under the supervision of engineers.

5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.

6. Troubleshoot electrical issues during the design or installation phases.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and electrical design innovations.

8. Assist in sourcing electrical components, systems, and equipment, and support vendor communication.

9. Provide support to senior engineers and participate in team discussions, contributing to the development of solutions.




Qualifications



Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master s a plus.

0-2 years of experience in electrical engineering.

Familiarity with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tools.

Basic understanding of power distribution, lighting design, and electrical safety standards.

Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Ability to create basic technical drawings and specifications with guidance.

Knowledge of sustainable engineering practices and renewable energy solutions is a plus.
