Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and analyzing cost reports and costing standards for the cement production process.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by compiling cost information and reconciling variances.
- Collect, validate, and input production and inventory data to ensure accurate cost allocation.
- Monitor and report on material, labor, and overhead costs to identify trends and variances.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and inventory management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans related to cost accounting.
- Participate in internal audits and support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost analysis reports for management to support decision-making.
- Help maintain and update cost accounting systems and databases.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing cost efficiency and accuracy.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
