Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior CAD Operator to support our Transport and Infrastructure Planning project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in civil engineering drawings, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, working knowledge of BIM processes, and a background in major projects, preferably within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.

This role is based in Abha, Saudi Arabia.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Drafting Support:
    Prepare and revise detailed drawings for transportation and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.

  • BIM Coordination:
    Support the integration of BIM workflows, ensuring project data and drawings are consistently updated and coordinated as per BIM protocols.

  • PMC Collaboration:
    Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other technical staff to deliver accurate, high-quality project documentation on schedule.

  • Compliance:
    Ensure all drawings and models adhere to applicable industry standards, company guidelines, and client requirements.

  • Documentation & Filing:
    Maintain proper filing systems for drawings, models, and related documents, ensuring traceability and accuracy.

  • Continuous Improvement:
    Stay updated with advances in CAD, Civil 3D, and BIM technologies, and actively participate in department training programs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a CAD operator within transportation or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; exposure to Autodesk Revit or other BIM tools is desirable.
  • Previous experience in GCC/Saudi Arabia projects is strongly preferred.
  • Good understanding of civil engineering drawings and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
