Job Designation: Junior Auditor

Job Brief: We are looking for an experienced auditor to scrutinize the financial statements of a variety of clients and report on their financial positions. Your goal will be to provide useful insights and identify problems in financial records and process. Verify financial records and transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed audits of specific accounts, identifying discrepancies and investigating potential errors or fraud.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports, summarizing findings, and recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in inventory counts and reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy of physical inventory records.
• Examine internal controls, evaluating their effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
• Support the planning and execution of audit procedures, including risk assessments and test planning.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, gathering information and explaining audit findings.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices to maintain audit quality.
• Assist in the preparation of working papers and supporting documentation for audit engagements.
• Collaborate with senior auditors, gaining experience and knowledge through mentorship and on-the-job training.
