Junior Accountant The Wave Lounge Beauty Spa

The company is seeking an experienced female Junior Accountant with UAE experience, preferably in the Cleaning and MEP industry. This position will be responsible for performing basic accounting functions, such as data entry and financial record maintenance, The role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to gain experience in finance.

ACCOUNTING KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Record financial transactions: Post and process journal entries, invoices, and payments. Reconcile accounts: Assist in reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable. Assist in month-end close: Help prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other related documents. Maintain financial records: Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records. Support audit: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed. Expense management: Assist in processing employee expense reports and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Assist with payroll: Help prepare and process payroll, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Entry-level position; internships or prior experience in accounting is a plus. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. - Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is preferred.

SOFT SKILLS Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Discretion in handling sensitive information. WORK ENVIRONMENT Primarily office-based, working with the finance team. Some overtime may be required during peak periods such as month-end or audit season.
