Joinery QA/QC Fujairah National Group LLC

To be successful as a Joinery QA/QC Engineer, candidates should have a strong understanding of joinery production processes and quality control techniques, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Develop and implement QA/QC plans specific to finishing joinery and fit-out works in alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
  Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents t understand quality expectations.
• Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of finishing joinery and fit-out installations at various project stages to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and safety standards.
  Coordinate and perform material and component testing as required, such adhesion, durability, and fire resistance tests.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality records. Maintain a comprehensive record of inspections and tests conducted.
  Ensure that all required documentation is accurately completed and file for future reference.
• Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify and document defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities. Collaborate with relevant teams to develop corrective and preventive action plans.
  Monitor and verify the implementation of corrective actions to ensure effective resolution.
• Supplier and Contractor Liaison: Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that materials and workmanship meet quality standards.
  Conduct supplier and subcontractor evaluations to assess their capabilities and adherence to quality requirements.
• Training and Compliance: Provide guidance and training to project teams and subcontractors on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
  Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and quality standards relevant to finishing joinery and fit-out works.
• Quality Audits: Perform regular quality audits on-site to assess compliance with established QA/QC plans and identify areas for improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose process improvements, innovative solutions, and best practices to enhance the quality of finishing joinery and fit-out works.
• Client Communication: Communicate quality-related matters with clients, addressing their concerns and providing assurance of quality standards being met.
