Jewelry Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Jewelry Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for trends, a passion for jewelry, and the ability to conceptualize unique designs that align with our brand's aesthetics. You will be responsible for creating innovative designs intended for production and ensuring that each piece meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. The role requires collaboration with other team members, including merchandisers, production specialists, and marketing, to translate design ideas into finished products esteemed by our diverse clientele. A successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adhere to company guidelines, and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create unique and innovative jewelry designs suitable for our target market.
• Sketch initial design ideas and use design software to develop detailed technical drawings.
• Research market trends to stay current with the latest jewelry fashion and materials.
• Collaborate closely with product development teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain strong communication with suppliers and production managers to facilitate efficient manufacturing.
• Participate in the prototyping stage, providing feedback for jewelry samples and adjustments.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
• Develop and maintain a library of design resources and materials for ongoing reference.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align designs with promotional campaigns.
• Continuously explore new materials and techniques for potential incorporation into designs.
• Prepare detailed presentations and reports for internal teams and external clients.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in jewelry design, including CAD software proficiency.
• Strong artistic ability and attention to detail in sketching and drawing.
• Excellent understanding of jewelry production processes and materials.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts.
• Portfolio of completed jewelry designs showcasing a range of styles and techniques.
• Ability to adapt to changing design trends and incorporate them effectively.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software tools preferred.
