Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or vocational training in Italian cuisine preferred.
-
10 years of culinary experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or fine dining restaurants with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
-
Certification in Culinary Arts or Apprenticeship required.
-
Food Handling, Sanitation, First Aid, and CPR certifications are mandatory.
-
Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written).
-
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-
Knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, regional ingredients, and contemporary plating.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing guest needs.
-
Able to work with minimal supervision and lead a multicultural team.

Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift food items and equipment.

Frequent exposure to hot stoves, ovens, and cooking equipment.
-
Requires repetitive motions such as chopping, stirring, and plating.
-
Sensory alertness essential to prevent injury and ensure food safety.

Must maintain stamina and focus in a high-paced, outdoor or semi-open-air kitchen environment.
