Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

IT Technician


User Support:

  • Respond to technical support requests (hardware, software, network, telephone, printers, etc.)

  • Diagnose and resolve level 1 and 2 IT incidents

  • Install, configure and update workstations and peripherals

  • Train users in good practices and the use of IT tools

Infrastructure and network:

  • Monitor the performance and availability of the local network (Wi-Fi) and servers

  • Ensure maintenance of network equipment (switches, routers, access points)

  • Perform data backups and restores as needed

  • Collaborate on user access management (accounts, passwords, rights)

Systems & security:

  • Participate in the implementation of IT security policies

  • Apply security patches and updates to systems

  • Monitor security incidents (antivirus, phishing, vulnerabilities)

  • Manage the inventory of the IT equipment (hardware/software)

Projects & developments:

  • Participate in the installation of new software or systems

  • Collaborate with headquarters or external service providers during technical deployments

  • Propose improvements for the optimization of internal IT tools

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bac+2 Bac+3 in IT, systems & networks or equivalent

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar position, ideally in the hospitality or service sector

  • Technical skills:

    • Knowledge of Windows systems, Office 365, Active Directory

    • Mastery of TCP/IP, VLAN, Wi-Fi networks

    • Notions of cyber security, backup, ticketing tools

  • Behavioral skills:

    • Rigor, sense of service, responsiveness, autonomy

    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to explain technical aspects in a simple way

    • Ability to work in a team and under pressure

LANGUAGES :

  • Fluent French

  • Professional English (reading technical documentation, supporting foreign customers)
