Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, escalating to senior engineers only when necessary to minimize downtime and improve user experience.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and permissions, ensuring a secure and efficient IT environment.
- Provide advanced support for network connectivity problems, including troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls to maintain network stability and performance.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows), applications, POS systems and peripherals.
- Proactively monitor system performance and security, implementing measures to prevent incidents and ensure data protection.
- Manage and maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in IT principles.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a related role, indicating a proven track record of success.
- Exhibits proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, showcasing versatility in supporting diverse environments.
- Possesses strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing), allowing for effective troubleshooting of network-related issues.
- Exhibits excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling efficient identification and resolution of technical issues.
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with users and team members.
- Displays a proactive and self-motivated attitude, demonstrating the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Demonstrates fluency in English, both written and spoken, to ensure effective communication within the team and with users.
