Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The IT Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of the organization s IT infrastructure, including hardware, Mac systems, servers, and Office 365 environments. This role involves providing technical support to end-users, performing server maintenance, and patching, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and keep business operations running seamlessly. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both end-users and team members.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Technical Support: Provide L2 Helpdesk support and resolve technical issues for employees via phone or in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users.
- Ticket Management: Track, manage, and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner, escalating issues when necessary to higher support levels.
- System Administration Support: Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and Office 365 support.
- System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and security patching. Ensure all IT assets are kept up to date and in proper working order.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors when necessary for hardware repairs, server support, Office365 and other IT-related services.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. - Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to team members.
