Roles & Responsibilities


Quality Leadership & Oversight

  • Guide and mentor product teams on IT Global Quality Strategy guidelines.
  • Ensure all teams understand and fulfill the defined Quality Gates across every phase of the IT product lifecycle.
  • Monitor the fulfilment of Quality Gates and ensure corrective actions are defined and effectively implemented.
  • Oversee and maintain a quality overview across all teams within Platforms and ARTs (Agile Release Trains).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related topics within platforms, ARTs, and product teams.
Quality Monitoring & Reporting
  • Gather quality metrics, generate, and publish team-specific quality reports.
  • Provide feedback to the QA Manager to help improve and evolve the Quality Strategy.
  • Promote transparency and ensure adherence to internal quality guidelines across external and internal teams.
Agile Support & Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters and RTEs to support Agile methodology adherence.
  • Foster collaboration and a one-team spirit among all stakeholders.
  • Support the onboarding of new team members to ensure alignment with quality standards and practices.
Strategic Involvement
  • Make critical decisions regarding quality improvements and corrective actions with confidence.
  • Help establish and maintain rigorous quality standards to position the company as an industry leader.
  • Ensure quality is built into each step of the Product Development Lifecycle.
Note: This is not a hands-on testing role. Instead, you will oversee quality across the process.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Quality roles within software development.
  • Strong background in implementing and promoting quality standards and best practices.
Technical & Methodology Expertise
  • Deep understanding of the complete Product Lifecycle, including:
    • Project management
    • Risk management
    • Release management
    • CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment)
    • Verification & Validation (V&V)
    • Product maintenance and delivery planning
  • Familiarity with Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) for:
    • Work item tracking (Epics, Features, User Stories, Test Cases, Defects, Tasks)
    • Reporting
Additional Knowledge Areas
  • CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies.
  • Requirements and risk management.
  • Release management and operations/maintenance (incident management).
  • Familiarity with quality standards, maturity models, and test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms like:
    • SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365
    • Workday (HR)
  • Knowledge of data management and data quality (a strong plus).
  • A broad quality mindset that extends beyond just testing is crucial.
