An IT Project Manager plays a crucial role in planning, executing, and closing projects that involve technology solutions. They collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs and determine how technology can meet those needs, prioritize projects, and ensure the projects align with business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT and project management, along with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role requires the ability to manage diverse teams, timelines, budget constraints, and deliverables while maintaining quality standards. An IT Project Manager often acts as a bridge between the technical team and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with stakeholders, including timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, providing regular progress reports.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation, making adjustments as required to meet project objectives.
• Conduct project closure activities, including documentation and analysis of lessons learned.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to ensure stakeholder alignment and project clarity.
• Use project management tools to create reports and dashboards that track progress and performance.
• Provide strategic advice and guidance on project management methodologies and best practices.
• Promote team collaboration, motivation, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in an IT project management role.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency with project management software such as MS Project or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of management.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
