Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management:
Plan, implement, and maintain hardware, software, network, and security systems.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor IT support staff; assign tasks, review performance, and support career development.
Project Management:
Oversee and coordinate IT projects such as system upgrades, new implementations, and integrations.
Security & Compliance:
Ensure robust data protection strategies, compliance with data privacy regulations, and regular security audits.
System Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Monitor IT systems and respond to technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
Vendor Management:
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
Budgeting & Planning:
Prepare and manage the IT department budget, forecasts, and procurement plans.
User Support & Training:
Provide high-level support and guidance to end-users and arrange necessary training.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations or IT management
Strong knowledge of networks, servers, cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity
Experience with ERP systems, CRM tools, and ITSM platforms is a plus
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is desirable
Certifications such as PMP, Microsoft, Cisco, or CompTIA are advantageous
Preferred Attributes:
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving ability
Experience in managing IT for a mid-sized company or across multiple locations
