Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive, hands-on IT Supervisor with strong expertise. The ideal candidate must be technically versatile, resilient under pressure, and committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Networking & Infrastructure

  • Perform structured cabling: termination, patching, testing, dressing, and server rack arrangements
  • Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, VLAN, VPN, WAN, LAN, subnetting, and IP addressing (IPv4 & IPv6)
  • Deploy and troubleshoot Wireless Access Points (APs)
  • Handle fiber cabling (single/multi-mode), SFP modules, and PoE switches
  • Manage network services including FTP, SMB, printer sharing, and file access protocols
  • Document and maintain cable layouts and network topology

Hardware & Operating Systems

  • Install and upgrade Windows OS (Windows 7 and above) and Windows Server (2008 and above)
  • Perform hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and issue resolution for desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Configure BIOS/UEFI, perform driver updates, and optimize performance
  • Set up and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and UPS systems

Access Control & ELV Systems

  • Install and configure door access systems and biometric devices
  • Understand ELV systems (Access Control, CCTV, cabling, power integration)
  • Coordinate with tenants on access control and wireless AP management

CCTV & Surveillance

  • Install and configure NVRs, IP cameras, and ANPR systems
  • Manage camera placement, retention settings, remote access, and failover solutions
  • Troubleshoot CCTV issues in collaboration with tenants

Server & Domain Management

  • Manage Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, FTP, and domain controllers
  • Experience with Azure hybrid environments (identity sync, cloud backup)
  • Basic PowerShell scripting for automation
  • Manage physical and virtual servers (Hyper-V/VMware)

Microsoft 365 & Productivity Tools

  • Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Forms, Power Automate, Excel, Word)
  • Enable cloud collaboration and manage user licenses

Security & Risk Management

  • Deploy and manage ESET Endpoint Security
  • Identify and mitigate security risks across endpoints and network assets
  • Monitor power management and UPS systems for critical infrastructure

Asset & Backup Management

  • Track IT assets through lifecycle stages: tagging, inventory, disposal
  • Schedule and test backups (local NAS & cloud platforms)

IP Telephony & Communication

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP phones
  • Familiarity with VoIP protocols and basic PBX systems

Coordination & Support

  • Collaborate with developers and internal teams for system integration
  • Create and manage support tickets
  • Conduct onboarding and technical training for new staff
  • Support tenants’ IT needs across real estate locations
  • Assist security teams with patrolling and ID scanners
  • Coordinate with ISP providers and internal staff

  • Maintains detailed logs, SOPs, and escalation records

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in IT support and infrastructure
  • Strong hardware, network, and security skills
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft Certifications)
  • Arabic nationality preferred
