Job Title: IT Helpdesk Engineer

  • Provide technical assistance to users by identifying issues, researching solutions, and guiding them through corrective steps.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems to ensure optimal workstation and LAN performance.
  • Maintain and update client documentation to improve reference materials and support efficiency.
  • Participate in the development of client training programs by identifying learning gaps and recommending instructional content.
  • Support clients with disabilities by recommending appropriate assistive devices and techniques.
  • Monitor compliance with service agreements to avoid legal challenges and ensure service quality.
  • Recommend system improvements based on performance analysis and user feedback.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining professional networks.
  • Contribute to the organization’s mission by completing related tasks and projects as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN systems, operating systems, and common software applications.
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation.
  • Knowledge of accessibility tools and techniques is a plus.
