Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Firewall and Network Security: Managing and configuring firewalls (preferably FortiGate) to protect the network from external and internal threats.

Endpoint Security: Providing endpoint security solutions using programs such as Kaspersky and FortiClient to ensure device protection.

VPN Setup and Configuration: Setting up and configuring site-to-site VPNs and remote access VPNs to enable secure connectivity for users.

Wireless Access Points and Nano Stations: Installing and maintaining Wi-Fi access points and Nano stations to ensure reliable network coverage.

User Device Setup and Configuration: Installing and configuring user computers, Windows OS, email systems, and various desktop applications.

User Support and Troubleshooting: Addressing software, hardware, and mobile device issues, providing immediate solutions.

Network Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting and resolving wired and wireless network problems for users.

Database and Farm Management Software: Installing, configuring, backing up databases, and troubleshooting farm management software.

Remote User Support: Handling user requests remotely using tools like TeamViewer and providing direct support.

Security Cameras and NVR Systems: Configuring and maintaining NVR systems and security cameras.

File Permissions Requests: Managing user requests related to file access permissions.

IT Asset Management: Tracking and maintaining IT assets within the office for proper inventory and updates.

Daily Operations Management: Performing routine tasks such as backups, system updates, and connectivity management

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Ability to work under pressure .
  • Capable of working in remote areas with weekly accommodations .
  • Strong background in LAN, WAN, Wireless networks, and Windows Server 2012 (including Domain, DHCP, DNS, IP management) .
  • Proficient in researching using Google, reading, and learning from technical articles .
  • Certifications: CCNA, MCSA .
  • Experienced in working with various types of routers and switches .
  • Knowledgeable in NVR and DVR systems.
