Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Engineer to join our team and support the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our IT systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the company’s technology environment. As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, networks, and operating systems. You will troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely technical support to internal users, and collaborate with other teams to resolve system and network problems. The role also involves monitoring system performance, implementing security measures, and ensuring data integrity and backup procedures are followed. In addition, the IT Engineer will assist in system upgrades, cloud services management, and the deployment of new technologies to improve operational efficiency. Documentation of system configurations and procedures is required, along with adherence to IT policies and best practices. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidates should have a solid background in information technology and practical experience supporting IT systems and infrastructure. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience. At least 2–5 years of experience in an IT engineering, systems administration, or technical support role is required. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, or macOS), networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and common hardware and software environments. Experience with server management, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity best practices is highly desirable. Candidates should be capable of troubleshooting complex technical issues, documenting solutions, and providing reliable technical support to internal users. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively are essential. Good communication skills are required to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with IT policies, system monitoring tools, and backup procedures is an advantage.
