Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Core System Ownership

Take full ownership of end-to-end performance and delivery of:

  • Passenger Service Systems (PSS): Radixx or equivalent
  • Departure Control Systems (DCS) and check-in systems
  • Airport Systems: AODB, BRS, FIDS, RMS, Flight Movement & Messaging, CUTE/CUPPS
  • Crew Management Platforms: Scheduling and rostering tools
  • OTA & Aggregator Integrations: APIs with Booking.com, Trip.com, Kiwi, etc.
  • Corporate & Learning Systems: M365 apps, MDM tools, LMS
  • Loyalty, CRM & Payment Gateways

Vendor Governance & Implementation

  • Own vendor relationships with partners such as Radixx, Hitit, SITA, Datalex, IPORT, Sabre, Amadeus, Navitaire, or other aviation tech providers.
  • Manage SLAs, onboarding, escalations, support frameworks, and project delivery.
  • Lead RFP, contract, and commercial evaluations when considering replacements or upgrades.

Operational & Digital Enablement

  • Ensure uptime, availability, and resolution SLAs for all applications.
  • Recommend and implement automation, workflow simplification, and integrations.
  • Identify quick wins and long-term improvements that enhance guest experience or reduce operational effort.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure proper documentation, backup, and change control for all managed systems.
  • Align all solutions to SalamAir s information security, data protection, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PACA, PCI-DSS).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Application uptime and incident response SLAs
  • Successful execution of projects and system rollouts
  • Commercial system availability during peak times
  • Vendor SLA compliance and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Team performance and internal knowledge transfer

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering. Master s preferred.
  • 8 12 years in airline applications or related digital systems.
  • At least 3 5 years in a managerial or lead role overseeing PSS/DCS or Airport/OPS platforms.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing solutions with vendors like Radixx, SITA, Navitaire, Amadeus, Sabre, or similar.
  • Experience with OTA integrations and travel aggregator APIs a strong plus.
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 tools, Power Platform, and modern MDM strategies.
