Job Overview

As an Irrigation Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of irrigation, landscape, and infrastructure works in accordance with project specifications, municipal codes, and safety standards. Based on-site, you will oversee inspection activities, document construction progress, report non-conformance, and support the engineering team during all phases of site development and handover.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect site conditions and verify suitability for landscape and irrigation installations
* Conduct surveillance on construction activities and ensure compliance with approved designs
* Identify and document non-conforming works; recommend corrective actions and track resolution
* Maintain detailed inspection logs, activity reports, and quality assurance records
* Provide practical guidance on-site construction practices and contract requirements
* Participate in site handover processes, including snag lists and final documentation
* Review shop drawings, irrigation layouts, and contractor methods for compliance
* Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documents
* Support site safety procedures and report observations to the safety team

Required Skills and Experience

* Associate degree or bachelor's in engineering, irrigation, or a construction-related field
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in irrigation and landscape inspection in infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality or GCC irrigation and landscape construction standards
* Proven ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
* Experience using inspection documentation systems and reporting tools
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project software
