IP Network Design Engineer Vodafone

We are seeking an experienced IP Network Design Engineer to join our Group Network Engineering & Delivery team in Egypt. This role focuses on designing and delivering carrier-grade connectivity solutions for Vodafone s Telco and IT services across local and international markets. The individual will act as a technical authority, specialising in IP and security design, and will work with a wide range of technologies including firewalls, load balancers, and proxies. The role supports Vodafone s transformation into SDN capabilities and programmability, enabling faster service deployment and improved network resiliency.

What you ll do

• Design and deliver customer service connectivity for Telco and IT across domestic and international markets.
• Define and implement scalable, cost-effective technical solution designs.
• Create and maintain High-Level and Low-Level Designs for customer services.
• Support capacity management and expansion projects in line with regional directives.
• Participate in demand management forums to prioritise connectivity requests.
• Manage system integrators for network implementation and connectivity delivery.
• Deliver software upgrades aligned with planning and dimensioning guidelines.
• Collaborate with operations teams to plan and schedule network activities.
• Contribute to the IP Evolution Plan by identifying architectural challenges and proposing solutions.
