Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily investment operations, including fund administration and custodian activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Monitor and review NAV calculations, reconciliations, and reporting from fund administrators.
  • Implement and maintain governance frameworks for investment operations, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory obligations.
  • Act as the key point of contact for fund managers, custodians, and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Risk, Compliance) to support investment-related activities and resolve operational issues.
  • Prepare and review regulatory reports and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
  • Manage operational risk by identifying gaps and implementing controls within investment processes.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections related to investment operations.
  • Drive improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:

  • Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams for governance, reporting, and regulatory alignment.
  • Senior management for updates on investment operations and risk management.

External:

  • Fund administrators and custodians for operational oversight and issue resolution.
  • Fund managers for investment execution and operational coordination.
  • Regulatory authorities for mandatory reporting and compliance matters.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 7 10 years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, or asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for investment entities in the region.
  • Expertise in fund accounting, NAV oversight, and custodial processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in investment systems and MS Office tools; experience with automation solutions is a plus.
