An Inventory Control Specialist is a pivotal role within any organization that seeks to maintain a seamless flow of products and materials. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions to ensure data integrity.

- Analyze and forecast inventory demand to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Collaborate with purchasing departments for timely inventory replenishment and new stock procurement.
- Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies or shortages to management for resolution.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of inventory items.
- Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock efficiently.
- Prepare detailed inventory reports and present findings to management for strategic planning.
- Implement best practices for inventory storage and handling to minimize damages or losses.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers for effective communication.
- Train and mentor junior staff or team members in inventory management techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration and negotiation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
