Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Internal Audit Execution:
· Assist Audit Manager in executing and completing the assigned audits within the scheduled timeline by evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance processes within the real estate developer division.
· Identify areas of improvement which includes cost saving opportunities and plugging revenue leakages and provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
· Review internal policies, procedures, and controls to identify weakness and recommend improvements for strengthening the controls and streamlining the process.
· Assess and evaluate potential risks and exposures related to real estate development processes which includes digital marketing, Sales operations, Channel Relations, Lead Management/Tele sales, CRM, Collections etc.
· Ensure compliance with UAE real estate laws and standards including RERA, DLD, VAT, Corporate Tax etc.
2. Reporting and Documentation:
· Prepare clear and concise audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
· Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation and records.
· Work closely with various departments to advise on best practices for internal controls, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
· Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing, particularly within the real estate developer sector.
Desired Candidate Profile
· A professional certification such as CIA, CA, or ACCA is preferred.
· A minimum of 4 years of experience in internal auditing, with a focus on the real estate developer in the UAE.
· Strong knowledge of UAE real estate developer regulations, standards, and best practices.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Big 4 experience is recommended.
