Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop creative and functional interior design concepts that align with client requirements and project objectives.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate interior design solutions within overall project plans.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and presentations using BIM and other design software.
  • Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution.
  • Communicate design ideas clearly to clients and incorporate feedback throughout the design process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continually enhance design solutions.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably within engineering or construction environments.
  • Proficiency in BIM and other design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of interior design projects and creative problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
  • Solid understanding of materials, finishes, and furnishings relevant to various project types.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions.
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
