Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to determine project requirements and design objectives.
- Develop innovative interior design concepts for small to medium-sized construction projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company standards.
- Prepare detailed drawings, mood boards, and 3D visualizations to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and color palettes that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
- Oversee the implementation of design solutions on-site, ensuring quality and adherence to approved plans.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to source materials and manage project timelines.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Present design proposals and modifications to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies to enhance design solutions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction methods relevant to interior spaces.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and spatial arrangements.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects.
