Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and develop detailed joinery and fit-out designs, translating client visions into tangible realities with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards, codes, and project budgets.
  • Manage and oversee joinery and fit-out projects from inception to completion, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and within budget delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress, address issues, and ensure quality control, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation.
  • Select and source appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures, considering both design intent and practical considerations such as durability, cost, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and other project team members to ensure seamless integration of joinery and fit-out elements within the overall design scheme.
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients, effectively communicating design concepts and ensuring client satisfaction.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in design principles and technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design joinery and fit-out, showcasing a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of joinery and fit-out techniques, material properties, and construction methods.
  • Proficient in using relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max), enabling efficient creation of detailed drawings and 3D models.
