Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


Summary:
Responsible for collecting insurance data from Patient Care Records, Police Reports, and other relevant sources, as well as assisting the Finance Department with insurance claim processing and recovery.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Finance Department to prepare accurate and complete information for insurance claim submissions, including both Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and medical claims.
• Follow up with EMTs to ensure accurate insurance information is collected from patients.
• Review the CAD system daily to identify calls related to MVAs, and trace the Patient Care Records (PCRs), in both paper and electronic formats, to ensure proper documentation for claim submissions.
• Work closely with the Insurance Claims Officer to process insurance claims for both medical and MVA cases.
• Generate invoices to insurance companies for payment of MVA-related claims.
• Conduct periodic audits to identify missed claims by comparing the CAD system with actual transported and non-transported cases.
• Follow up with the police department on pending accident reports.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for payment follow-ups on outstanding claims.
• Analyze pending claims and provide the necessary supporting documents to expedite processing.
• Prepare regular reports for the Insurance and External Communication Manager, including details of submitted claims, outstanding receivables, and the status of insurance documentation, to support effective management of the insurance recovery process.
• Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualification and Experience:
• Diploma in Accounting, Business administration or other related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Finance, Insurance or in a related field.
• Strong skills in computer and business solutions software, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and management
• Good communication skills for engaging with employees and management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Arabic is essential
• Effective presentation skills to support internal clients in understanding documentation principles and the importance of accurate insurance-related information.
• Good planning and organizational skills to manage and prioritize workload.
