Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Creating and implementing advanced instrumentation systems for industrial processes.
- Enhancing system performance and efficiency through automation and control strategies.
- Ensuring all instrumentation adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues to maintain seamless operations.
- Leading instrumentation projects, coordinating with teams, and managing budgets.
- Researching and integrating new technologies to improve system capabilities
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- The role of Instrumentation Designer is to carry out day to day Instrumentation engineering and design activities in an assigned project
- The Designer reports functionally to the Department Manager and operationally to one or more Lead Engineers / Lead Designer The understanding of the technical requirements of the project, standards are crucial
- Assist the senior designer in Instrumentation design activities by timely developing the drawings as per project and company quality standards
- Ability to Analyze & understand Client requirements
- Ability to develop Bills of Materials
- SPI, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling or 2D Drafting
- Installation layouts (Instrument Location layouts, Air distribution, Main Cable Routing, Secondary cable tray). Building Layouts (Control Room Equipment layout, Earthing layout, Telecom layout). Instrument standard installation / Hookups and Cable block diagram
- Loop drawing, wiring diagram in 2D as well as in SPI
- Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management
- Coordinate within members of discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors etc.
- Participate in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out
- Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
- Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas

Expected
- Minimum five years experience
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics and Communication.
- In-depth knowledge of design tools AutoCAD / Micro station,
- FPSO Design experience
- SPI, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling software experience
- Ability to organize and set priorities
- Ability to communicate and present effectively
- Ability to report in in English, both verbal & in writing
- Proactive attitude
