Omani candidates to teach mathematics in the Foundation Program must have:

• A full-time MA in education with specialization in mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 3.0; and
• At least two years teaching experience at the post-secondary level after having completed their MA

OR

• A full-time MA in mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and a BA in the same; and
• At least three years teaching experience at the post-basic level after having completed their MA

Omani candidates with no experience will be eligible for the position of Instructor if they meet all other qualifications.

Non-Omani candidates to teach mathematics in the Foundation Program must have:

• A full-time MA and BA in mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 3.2; and
• At least three years teaching experience at the post-secondary level after having completed their MA

All candidates Omani and non-Omani must have good command of the English language (minimum IELTS Band 6.0 or its TOEFL equivalent).

Candidates without these qualifications will not be considered.
