Inspector VII, Conformity Chemical Engineer
An exciting opportunity is available Inspector VII, Conformity Chemical Engineer, based in Dubai, UAE who will report directly to Sr Supervisor, ITS Operations.
Summary:
We are seeking for a motivated Inspector VII, Conformity Chemical Engineer who will Carries out routine assessment and testing for the chemical products to assure quality, safety, reliability and system integrity, processes, and equipment against relevant/applicable standards as per MOIAT.
In this role, you will be responsible of:
- Maintains the integrity of the company name & brand.
- Advice on certification requirements and other details for specific product categories.
- Updates and maintains understanding of international and regional standards and schemes
- Ensures maintenance & improvement of competency and qualification as Conformity Engineer as per the required standards and other applicable codes, regulations, and organizational requirements.
- Provides quality, scientific, and technical knowledge of the products as per the relevant Scheme.
- Ensures correct and timely issuance of Conformity Certificates
- Maintains KPI and targets of the International Trade Services department
- Identifies the product specific requirements, standards, and relevant scheme and assesses accordingly.
- Prepares Technical Instructions relevant to the products and scheme.
- Provides timely and effective response to client enquiries regarding product requirement and standards.
- Identifies non-complying products and maintain records for the same.
- Develops and maintains process procedures for the departmental activities.
- Escalates high risk matters to the Management.
- Ensure client and vendor integrity management.
- Manages customer relationships and effective handling of customer complaints
- Performs other conformity relates tasks assigned by management
- Compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and work instructions as per QHSE, ISO applicable standards and legal/ regulatory requirements across all Technical Services operational locations.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- 3 years’ experience with Degree or 8 years’ experience with Diploma is desirable.
- Degree or Diploma combined with relevant experience in Chemical Engineering,
- Relevant qualification and certification as per applicable system standards.
