Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of civil and structural construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications, design drawings, and applicable codes.
- Monitor construction activities, such as earthworks, concrete pouring, structural framing, and finishing works.
- Document inspection findings, compile reports, and communicate results to project management teams and stakeholders.
- Identify, document, and report any discrepancies, defects, or non-compliances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and project teams to address quality issues and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Participate in site meetings and inspections alongside project management and engineering teams.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection activities, observations, and corrective actions taken.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil and structural inspection.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable codes and standards.
- Proven experience in inspecting civil and structural works, with the ability to identify design compliance issues.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to document findings accurately.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Inspector (CCI) or equivalent are preferred.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil and structural inspection.
