About the role

We re looking for a highly skilled Inspection Quality Supervisor to lead the validation process of inspected vehicles, ensuring every car meets our standards before being purchased. This role is crucial in maintaining trust with our customers and ensuring that every vehicle entering our inventory meets the highest inspection criteria.You ll be responsible for overseeing inspection outcomes, verifying decisions, and coaching inspectors to uphold quality and consistency at scale.
What You Will Do
    • Lead the inspection validation process, making final decisions on vehicle approvals and rejections.
    • Review and verify inspection reports submitted by field inspectors to ensure technical and cosmetic issues are accurately diagnosed.
    • Oversee day-to-day inspection quality operations and ensure alignment with Sylndr s quality standards.
    • Identify trends, recurring issues, or gaps in inspection accuracy, and implement corrective measures.
    • Support inspector performance by providing feedback, training, and best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Operations, and Technical to resolve inspection-related challenges.
    • Leverage data (preferably through tools like SQL) to identify patterns and optimize decision-making processes.
    • Own key metrics around rejection accuracy, inspection turnaround times, and internal audit scores.
Who You Are
    • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in automotive inspection or quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • In-depth understanding of vehicle mechanical systems, diagnostics, and cosmetic inspection standards.
    • Experience validating inspection decisions and ensuring adherence to company policies.
    • Working knowledge of SQL or a willingness to learn data-driven tools is preferred.
    • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
