Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough surveillance of infections, analyze data, and identify trends to proactively address potential outbreaks and implement targeted interventions.
  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs for healthcare staff on infection control practices, emphasizing proper hand hygiene, PPE use, and isolation protocols.
  • Investigate and manage infection control breaches, including outbreaks, implementing corrective actions and reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and environmental services, to ensure a coordinated approach to infection prevention.
  • Develop and update infection control policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based, current, and accessible to all staff members.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infection prevention and control within a healthcare setting.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of infection control principles, practices, and MOH regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate staff.
