Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using diagnostic tools and advanced problem-solving skills to restore functionality promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and machinery in industrial settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installation and repair tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement electrical systems that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure detailed documentation for compliance and future reference.
  • Assist in the commissioning and testing of new electrical systems to guarantee proper functionality and safety.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices, sharing expertise and best practices to foster skill development.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and perform repairs under pressure to minimize production loss and ensure safety.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment, showcasing a strong understanding of complex electrical systems.
